This old Jet Engine, Klimov RD-45 is situated in the courtyard of Universitatea Politehnica Timisoara, and I taught it would be a good project for my Masters Dissertation & Research paper. Took me around 50 hours in total from taking the pictures (600 of them), 3D model processing (6 models with different quality level and multi editing) and writing over 60 pages of ”How it’s made” plus a research paper with short but on point 3d reconstruction.

The original model from the game! This was the first dragon ever made for Skyrim, and it took me three months to make (what with all the back-and-forth with programming, art and design). This semi stylized character was a LOT of work. Like for real. I had a lot of fun though! Especially the texturing process really brought her to shine! I did struggle quite a lot with the face though, and it still didn’t quite turn out as I wanted it to. However, I think it turned out neat overall.
