A personal project that I’ve been doing in my spare time for about a year. I have learned many new things during this time, for example, how to use Unreal Engine 5 and Substance Designer. Also I repeated the basics of 3D pipeline I learned at XYZ School. Most importantly, I managed to convey the mood with which the people of the post-Soviet space are picking berries. An old but reliable grandfather’s scooter, a couple of buckets and a good tovarisch nearby – everything you need for a “quiet hunt”. For the terrain I used the “Simple grass chunks” by 3dhdscan and the “Grassy Ground” texture by Game Textures. This is one of the Ancient Lion Pillars that I had converted into a 3D Model with the help of Zbrush. Basically, I had made the pillar in Maya and then the lion’s skull in the Zbrush (This is my first time to work on it). Then I had combined them up, to put some cracks on the pillar so that it would have an ancient look. Then the same thing as it is (Low poly, Unwrapping and Baking). The texture have two variants one with dirty jaw spots and the other without it, comes with 4k, 2k and 1k textures for both variants : diffuse , normal , roughness (dry and wet) ,height/displacement and AO maps , baked normal map from a high poly model and place it in the low poly model , uv wrapped it manually . Eyes and tongue , all is in one texture except for the barbs . Comes with blend file and the textures attached in rar.
