This is a quick creature project that I made a few years back. The concept sculpt was created in a little under six hours. Once I had a good blocked out concept, I refined the detail sculpt, retopologized the mesh Uv’d and textured it.
The surfacing for this guy was originally done with Vray in mind, but with a little clean up, it was pretty easy to transfer over to Sketchfab’s PBR material. I had to down res the maps significantly to get them to load however, and the Emission of the material seems to blur out the surface quite a bit.
The colors for this guy were inspired by a close cousin of the Seahorse known as the “Weedy Sea Dragon ” while the overall patternings and designs are very geomtric in nature 3D Model is ready to download for free, this model contains 23558 polygons.
