This is my World War 1 trench scene I have been working on and recently finished. My first attempt at a “scene" or “environment" as I mostly have done props prior to this. I would have liked to finish it on the 100th anniversary of The war to end all wars, but wasn't able to. I hope you enjoy it all the same. Concept, Modeling, Texturing and rendering done by myself. The bottoms to the jacket (see model), which is made from the same wool/tweed that would have been incredibly uncomfortable to wear and probably irritated the skin. There are 8 buttons lining the waist band of the trousers, in sets of four sets of two buttons going across, and there is then 4 buttons going down the front of the trousers which were incredibly stiff to undo and redo. There are two welt pockets either side.
