This modified lantern wall clock converted to a clockwork mechanism, exhibits an arched dial with detailed scrollwork. It has the name James Michell of London on its face. The clock is part of the collection from the Moseley Homestead, a National Register of Historic Places site in Brandon, Florida. The 1886 homestead was originally owned by Charles Scott Moseley and his wife Julia Daniels Moseley and later their descendants. Charles Scott Moseley was an inventor and watchmaker, including time as a watchmaker with the Elgin plant in Illinois, where he had a 40-year career as First Superintendent. 日本愛知縣岡崎市自古以來即以石雕聞名。其中明治、大正年間，岡崎石工店家「酒孫兵衛」製作的狛犬式樣，經同行間不斷地流傳與再創造，進而融匯成晚近日本狛犬最普遍的風貌式樣，而有「岡崎型」分類的說法。
此對狛犬位於岡山壽天宮後方福德祠，為民國七十六年改建時購自花蓮，根據老照片比對，應為原址在今花蓮美崙山忠烈祠、於大正五年 (1916）鎮座的花蓮港神社舊物。其中阿形狛犬足踏繡球，吽形狛犬足搭子犬，圓額闊口，體態渾暢洗練，豎立的尾鬃亦一波三折、飄逸扭動，體現出「岡崎型」狛犬的造型特色。
