The average granite composition consists of roughly: ~40% Potassium Feldspar (Typically Microcline) ~ 20% Plagioclase Feldspar ~20% Quartz ~5% Biotite ~5% Hornblende (with the abundance of Potassium feldspar and quartz decreasing, and the abudnance of Plagioclase, Hornblende and biotite increasing as the composition changes from FELSIC towards Intermediate).
