Gliding animation for a nice lightweight rhamphorhyncus model, a Jurassic pterosaur that ate fish, squid, etc. Gave it a gannet-inspired colorscheme in Substance Painter.
The gliding animation is the only one that comes with this model. The skeleton is very basic, and may require new skinning or rigging to try to do any more ambitious movements- I modeled it in flight, I don’t know if the geometry will support it landing and walking without some bad clipping. What you see in sketchfab is of lower quality than what is really there due to the limits of polygons but I have added some separate files where the quality is much better.
If you are not convinced by the cuts or the breakdown, don’t worry because it also includes a version without cuts or booleans with which you can modify them to your liking.
