Argentinosaurus model inspired by Prehistoric Planet’s Dreadnoughtus. It was my favorite show of last year and the Dreadnoughtus scene is up there as my favorite segment of the documentary. I urge anyone who haven’t seen it to give it a watch, it is the brilliance and the representation that paleontology needed in main-stream media.

The native file type is BLEND as it was created with Blender, however with OBJ, FBX as well as PBR textures provided, it will work with any 3D programs.

Here is one of the most recognizable saurpods in media, the Brachiosaurus, here i reconstruceted it with an anatomically accurate body, I’ve added a speculative beak on it, the colors are inspired by prairie animals like giraffe, bison and more. The model is rigged and animation ready, it has 56,837 vertices or 112,332 triangles.

Low poly reconstructed skeleton of the giant sauropod Dreadnoughtus schrani from Southern Patagonia, Argentina. Dreadnoughtus lived during the Late Cretaceous some 70 to 76 million years ago.
The missing elements have been filled in with my own sculpted bones based on other titanosaurs. Existing bones themselves have not been repaired. Only two vertebrae have been only very slightly uncrushed.
