An attic scene I've been working as a side project. I wanted to do something simple and not too cluttered, so I wouldn't have to worry about filling up space. The goal was to invest more time into working on textures and materials, and try to capture a certain mood and atmosphere with the help of lighting. Trying out handpainted textures for the #travelchallenge! A regular broomstick just won’t do for a warlock on the go! This deluxe broom is complete with handlebars, a seat, and a friendly familiar. I was going to add cupholders but not sure if that fits with the fantasy theme. Feel free to use this model for anything, it was mostly for practice. All done in Blender.
Also, despite what the bottom says, this model is probably not compatible with Unity/Unreal. The broom is all individual objects with their own textures, as that was the fastest and easiest workflow to follow. The file is an absolute mess. If you feel like optimizing it for game engines anyway, feel free to share with credit. IT was hailed as being ‘‘100 years ahead of its time’’ when it opened in 1936 to care for the treatment of people with learning disabilities.
Hidden in a wooded estate, well outside Glasgow’s city boundary, Lennox Castle hospital - built for (pounds) 1m - was chosen for its rural, peaceful and safe location.
Apart from a few who had jobs on neighbouring farms, the 1500 patients catered for at its peak, aged from 10 to 80, lived mainly in their own community, separate from their neighbours in Lennoxtown, with their own workshops, school and recreational facilities.
