In this assignment we were asked to creat a WOW inspired weapon.
I found this assignment quite challenging at first, I wasn’t familiar with weapons and so coming up with a creative design that fit the brief took me longer than expected. However, in the end, I am pretty happy with my outcome.
I chose a coral/deep sea theme for my weapon and thanks to this I was able to play around with lots of fun colors and the presentation.

The purpose of the scan is to make a perfect fit bespoke fabricated composite cover, therefore some reverse engineering was necessary to get a native CAD data (step) to be able to machine the mold for the composite. For this, weve sed Quicksurface’s Autosurface option to get the nurbs surface based on the HQ mesh.
