Cooperation with our friends at G-3D-PrintThe front cover of the jetski was scanned using Artec Leo in 15 minutes (including chalc sraying, markers, etc.) and the post-process workflow took about 60 minutes in Artec Studio. The jetski belongs to the world champion György Kasza and his team. The purpose of the scan is to make a perfect fit bespoke fabricated composite cover, therefore some reverse engineering was necessary to get a native CAD data (step) to be able to machine the mold for the composite. For this, weve sed Quicksurface’s Autosurface option to get the nurbs surface based on the HQ mesh. This model of the trapezoidal suspension arm of the Porsche Panamera car was made by me in the process of reverse-engineering based on the results of 3D scanning of the original part.
As a result, it was possible to reproduce the geometry of the original part with very high accuracy.
At one time, this project was quite a difficult task, but also just as interesting 3D Model is ready to download for free, this model contains 1891574 polygons.
