This model was realized through photogrammetry using Agisoft Metashape (ver. 1.5.3.). 180 pictures were taken of a resin replica of the piece, and the were processed and scaled using the software tools. The morphology of the piece impeded taking pictures of its base, which provoqued te model to not be closed in that area. Excited about the upcoming Xenoblade Chronicles Definitive Edition? Well, I am for sure, so I had to make some fanarts to ease the hype!! Here is a recreation of the new Monado design shown in on of the latest trailers for the Future Connected epilogue. I only had the trailer as reference, so I had to use a bit of imagination for some pieces and proportions, and for the open/close mechanism too!
This was a very exciting hard-surface project, and I loved working on it. Stay tunned for more fanarts coming in the future!
