Hello! This is my submission for the first assignment of Stylized Creation for Howest DAE. We were assigned to create a simple game ready character. The sculpt was made in Zbrush, low poly retopo in Maya, baking in Marmoset Toolbag and texturing in Substance Painter. In this assignment we were asked to creat a WOW inspired weapon.
I found this assignment quite challenging at first, I wasn’t familiar with weapons and so coming up with a creative design that fit the brief took me longer than expected. However, in the end, I am pretty happy with my outcome.
I chose a coral/deep sea theme for my weapon and thanks to this I was able to play around with lots of fun colors and the presentation.
