Sci fi gun concepted by me. I’ve always loved the shape design of a p90 so I wanted to create a sci-fi looking gun using the same shape language. My little sister also love unicorns so when she saw I was stumped on my design she gave the idea of unicorn gun. I decided to run with the idea so I started concepting in maya using booleans. After a couple of designs I decided to go with this one. I modeled the gun in maya and then textured it using substance painter and photoshop. I like this model, I think it looks super cute, and colors make it look like a candy. It’s a high-poly model which consists out of 17K triangles, cause I wanted to be as smooth as possible. I decided to do handpainted textures to get more cute and simple look.

Digging Up ‘Little Hell’!
An excavation of one of Liverpool’s slum ‘Court Houses’ was undertaken in July at Oakes Street (between London Road and Pembroke Place). As part of the Galkoff’s and Secret Life of Pembroke Place project the Museum of Liverpool archaeology team worked with Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine to see what was hidden under their car park.
One of the objects found was a cermanic egg which was used in the keeping of chickens.
