This is my first work with stylized models, developed based on the fantastic concept of Cesar Vergara. Everything was modeled in zbrush, worked in maya and texturized in substance painter. The Staples Center (stairs in front of the Convention Center) is a very famous skate spot.
I spent a good amount of time in Google Earth, and used screenshots from there to make a texture-atlas for the buidings, to make sure things looked right.
Project was modelled and textured in Blender. A couple of the street-costruction props(.fbx) were imprted and placed around, other than that everything was modelled and textured myself.

This is a very simple scene including everything that I made for my most recent project: Medieval Village. My task was to make the tailor shop which I created to be very poor looking and also included a little sassy drawing of him on the front of the house to show his personality. The main plinth got a market with some materials, there is a pumpkin patch in the back that was not made for the tailor himself but something for the entire village to use. Then there is a tiny island with some underwear and clothes to dry. Pinocchio! Such an amazing movie and storybook for children(and s!). In this Diorama-Pop Up project I took the courage to write a little story about the famous “Sea Monster” named Pepper. I changed a little bit of the original story, so please don’t be angry if the whale is a cute whale.I’m really feeling the 3D painting energy after this project. It was amazing to work with a Reference to build the lovable Pinocchio. Early this week I contacted by email Christian Cornia, a professional and amazing 2D illustrator, if I could use one of his Pinocchio exploration concepts. He greet me with joy and allowed me to use his concept as reference. Go check his work at Artstation! I hope you enjoy this little diorama and I’m craving to do more.
