Fan art of a house I saw in a SuperCell game “Boom Beach Frontlines”. I did high/mid/low poly models for this project. The high-poly (153,777 tris) for the bake of course, the mid-poly (38,995 tris) for sketchfab and the low poly (5.8 03 tris) as a game asset. The low-poly could be lower but I preferred to keep some details. I implemented the low poly in Unity, adding some animations and particles. Call it nostalgia, but I’ve always loved the look of the turtles from the original 1990 film. It blew me away that they took these relatively simple drawings, and brought to life these really realistic humanoid turtles. I remember losing my mind when I first saw them. When I started working on this by chance, there were these new turtle figures out that had captured quite a bit of the detail from the movie costumes so I used those as reference heavily. I built this model with high end game cinematics in mind, base model was around 83k before smoothed. He will eventually have a full working facial rig with mouth cavity....just getting lazy here towards the end on him..haha. The skin I ended up using one of the default new orc skin templates in painter and messed around with the layers in that with some of my own custom additions and I think it turned out fairly nice. As soon I saw this concept, I decided to implement it in 3D, I just needed a reason to work closely with the Hurd surface in ZBrush and get the most out of the automatic retopology. It seemed corny to me to make another combat mech, so I decided to turn to aerospace and NASA. Sculpting and hard surface modeling made entirely in ZBrush.
