This chess set design was inspired by schematic chess drawings. (See example below.) I was so charmed by the chess piece symbols that I wanted to see if I could turn them into a “playable” set. After modeling the pieces, I added bases to the knight, bishop, queen, and king to establish the proper hierarchy. (Otherwise, the pawn would have been taller than the king.) I particularly love that the bishop, queen, and king are represented by elaborate headgear. During the construction of a new riverside wall in 1962 in London, the remains of an interesting ship were found. Dating evidence from the timbers and a coin found in the mast step placed the ship as likely being built, and sunk, during the Roman period, specifically in the 2nd Century CE. However, the ship was constructed in the Celtic tradition. The reconstruction is based primarily on the excavation report by Peter Marsden published by English Heritage, “Ships of the Port of London – First to eleventh Centuries AD”. It contained detailed drawings of the remains and reconstruction drawings. Where no evidence remained, such as for the sails and the rear of the ship, Roman period iconography and other Roman period shipwrecks from northern Europe were used as inspiration. The sail plan is based of the Torlonia relief, and the nearly intact mast of a Roman period ship found in Bruges, Belgium. Old_Train_Engine I saw this Train Engine once and was impressed by its sheer scale so much that I just had to model it. I collected some reference material and started working on it, draw inspiration from a similar works from the game Metro Exodus This work helped me get a deeper understanding of the Game pipeline.Followed all the necessary steps to fulfill the workflow of the actual video AAA game’s industry pipeline. A SciFi Spaceship Corridor done on Android with a Note 3. Given the fact that I had to unwrap faces one by one to make a flattened screenshot that could be painted and then re-wrap all faces back to their original place, this corridor has been the most ambitious and crazy of my projects on Smartphone. So here is my first character almost fully sculpted on blender 2.81. It took me a few days to figure out how to represent Kaido on a 3d aspect. I took a basic draw of kaido and started sculpting with it in my background. The sculpting was done by mouse and I would say I worked on the model probably 10 hours in total. The character has no scar on his body, let’s say this render is representing him before he got it :) I was mainly focusing on making the best possible Kaido model using my skills, that’s why the background ( representing Onigashima, the residential island of Kaido ) looks this bad.
