The school objective was to create a high quality game ready model in a month (the month being shortened to around 3 weeks due to Christmas break). For the model, I chose to create a medieval knight. The Green Knight, low poly was made in Maya, and high poly was made in zBrush. High res was sculpted in 2 days and low res was finished in around 2 days. The game res model was made using the quad draw tool in Maya and UVs were also cut in the software. When creating the low res, I also split some parts off in order to allow for customization as if the model had different armor sets. The textures were made in 4 days with the help of Substance Painter. I followed UE4 PBR guidelines and did every material as a procedural. This coffin was recovered from a tomb in the Valley of the Kings in what has been designated Tomb KV55. The tomb was discovered by Edward R. Ayrton in 1907 while working for the wealthy American Theodore M. Davis. The tomb has been controversial since it’s discovery, originally being designated the burial of Queen Tiye. It has now been shown through DNA analysis that the remains found in the tomb are those of Akenaten himself. The DNA has further demonstrated that Akhenaten was the father of Tutankhamen (King Tut).
The face of the coffin and the name in the cartouche have been deliberately removed in an attempt to condemn the “heretic” pharaoh in the afterlife and erase his memory.

Here is my most elaborate and intricate costume yet, a replica of a dress worn by Queen Cersei Lannister in Game of Thrones (seasons 3-6).
This red and gold brocard dress also features very fine and detailed embroideries figuring arabesques, birds and the powerful Lannister lion.
I spent 400 hours in this work, with 350 only for the hand embroideries! (I used 20m of italian mesh, 250m of golden threads, about 1400 beads and rings…)
The 3D model has been computed from 445 Nikon D5300 DSLR 24 MPx images, aligned in low quality, with medium depth maps and mesh (decimated to 850k polys, with localized smoothing up to 15), and one 4k texture (sorry for the loss of details on the embroideries…). All retopo, decimation, smoothing and texturing is made only in Metashape.

This is a very “quick’n’dirty” test I decided to finally upload as a first entry to the #AgisoftClothesChallenge . It’s not great, it’s not that bad either…
This jacket is a replica of the black paneled uniform worn by military members of the Atlantis expedition in the Sci-Fi show Stargate Atlantis, and this specific version, made of ripstop fabric, is worn by John Sheppard during seasons 2 and 3 of the show. I made it back in 2013, so there are some flaws…
The model has a lot of flaws too that I could not really correct without damaging it more, and varying lighting during the photoscanning did not help… It’s made from 222 Nikon D5300 DSLR 24 MPx pictures, with low quality alignment, and medium quality depth map meshing, with a bit of smoothing.
