Debonair Qiyana is a fanart skin concepted by jason 小傑. I did sculpting and modeling in Blender, textured in 3D Coat. then rigging and posing back in Blender again. This project is the most difficult project I’ve done by far due to all the new materials I’ve encountered for the first time. I learned so much during the past few months, and I am so grateful for those who helped me along the way. Big shoutout to the Handpainter’s Guild as well as the concept artist himself to troubleshoot some of the designs that aren’t shown in the original concept. Bronze statue located next to the City Park (Stadspark) of Antwerp (Belgium).
The statue was cast in Paris by F. Barbedienne, from an original stone sculpture by Marcel Bourbier. The piece was part of the French pavillion during the World Fair of 1930 in Antwerp, and was later gifted to the city of Antwerp by the city of Paris. The original stone sculpture has since disappeared (a smaller bronze cast is on display in the Musée des Beaux-Arts in Nîmes / EDIT: apparently the original is now at Hearst Castle in California!).

A personal project I started in September that got pushed back due to university work. After finishing the game I knew I had to make something for my portfolio to show praise as I am one of the few people with the controversial opinion that the game is a masterpiece, ultimately becoming my favourite game I’ve ever played. I’m a huge fan of Joel and Ellie and I was very invested in the continuation of their story.
I chose to model the guitar that Joel gives to Ellie as I felt that it was a physical embodiment of their relationship which is my favorite thing about the games. It’s also different to a lot of my other portfolio pieces as I tend to model weapons.
I found this piece quite challenging as the sunburst pattern on the body of the guitar took some time to get right as I had not done too much hand painted texturing within Substance Painter but I am very happy with the results. This is the first version of a cow character I am currently working on. Its for a low poly game my buddy and I started to develop last week. I will show further versions of this character as well as additional models here on sketchfab.
Here’s my process using blender: I box modeled the body, the arms and the head as separate objects and smoothed everything with the subdivison surface modifier. For the texture I used a wacom tablet in combination with blenders texture paint mode. I have no experience with texture painting, but I’m quite happy with the first result. I merged all objects and rigged the character in T-pose.
