Hi to everybody again. In this guitar challenge I present this gibson paint. It makes me nostalgic, the musical instruments, there was a time in my life where I did a lot of music. To project mu passion I have done a stylized hell style painting. The work of uvs was additional, for this use blender and manually cut each piece, then rectification of angular and area distortions. For the puzzle use uvpackmaster, separating in 3 materials with 70% coverage of the islands on the texture set, and an optimal texture resolution for real time, prepared for a 4k and two 2k map. I started out just wanting to make a plant, but I couldn’t keep my grubby little sci-fi loving hands out of this project. I do a lot of dingy, banged up tech objects, but this time, I wanted to dive in hard with the super sleek stormtrooper helmet style white plastic. So, this is diorama, which i made, inspired by an old russian comic tv series “Calambur”. There was a sketch called “Iron Kaputt” which tells us about a super secret tank crew. The Headquarters forgot about them, and they wandered the desert, without orders. The funny part is, the crew is just a bunch of stupid bums, who can’t even handle a tank like this and aren’t able to repel any attacks by the local rebels. I stumbled across an amazing concept of this bugbear by Jaemin Kim and thought it’d be the perfect opportunity to make a full character from a concept. I started by sculpting the whole body in ZBrush and then retopologized using the Zsphere tool. I then went on to unwrap him in 3ds Max, texture him in Substance Painter, finally using Maya to rig and do the simple breathing animation. This is my contribution to the digital car creation. It started as a simple model but adding more and more detail led it to the current state. The demo animation should give you some ideas what’s inside the package but it doesn’t include everything. I wasn’t able to optimize it for sketchfab without loosing too much quality (normally I’d hide parts of the model) so it’ll take a bit to load the textures and unfortunately (also for me) some of you (with slower GPUs) will struggle a bit to see the content - in that case, please pause the animation. It’s a complete model of the 911SC from ‘83. It’s completely unwrapped, with painted textures and rigged. The rig is of course made for this animation but I’ll attach a different one suitable for Unreal Engine. This is a model based in Venrin’s concept. I started doing this 3D model when it was available on DeviantArt but it’s just on Pinterest now. Some technical things to mention about the model: I forgot about the incapacibility of most of the file formats to store nodes information, so, I had to bake it all to expose the model here The animation has a bug in her left eye, maybe because I animated it all using shape keys in different objects? In blender it’s all synchronized and smooth hahaha xD.
