The original model from the game! This was the first dragon ever made for Skyrim, and it took me three months to make (what with all the back-and-forth with programming, art and design). All the variants - the Blood Dragons, the Ancient Dragons, etc - came later, and were all texture variants of this one, with low-poly mesh changes to the mesh. As with all things art, there are elements of this guy I wish I could change, but ultimately I love this dude and I’m proud of him. A lowpoly dude and its sword full animation moveset All of them made in one day, so i’m pretty proud of this one (0: This is the first low poly human i’ve modeled. The animations were inspired in the moveset of straightswords in Dark Soul. Back when I made this, i’ve never tried Low poly 3D as a style, and aesthetics wise. Since then I realized that low poly its such a great resource for a guy like me, who’s trying to learn everything by itself to use it in it’s own project so then can be made in lesser time than when using the “next-gen” aproach for creating 3d graphics. I knew I wanted to try a modeling a weapon while still exploring a stylized texturing technique. I hope I did Moniek’s design justice! There are multiple things I’m pleased with on this project and multiple things I hope to resolve better in the future. One thing I’m particularly proud of is the damaged portion of the flat part of the blade, which I actually “painted” the normals for in Substance Painter! My dear friend Weston (https://www.artstation.com/westontjones) suggested I try that when I realized I forgot to sculpt the damage in Zbrush. Something I hope to learn from is the lighting issue on the handle, which is related to how I UV’d this piece. Overall, I am pleased with my growth in the past two projects! A black colored version of the Italvolanti Admiral steering wheel. I made this long ago for a mod for Assetto Corsa. Thought about posting it here since it’d be good publicity.
