Upd: I painted him! I started learning 3D about a week ago, and this is my second ever model (the first one was dino head that is too ugly to show to the world). Done in ZBrush (this program is a MONSTER). I'll probably colour it later (or made a texture, don't know how to call this process), but for now I'm so done with this model and so, SO proud B) (I'm sure I won't be able to look at it without cringing in a month or so). 3D Model is ready to download for free

When the plasma bounces off the nearby terrain and returns to Toothless, it gives him an incredibly accurate reading of his surroundings.
