On this day in 2009, the bitcoin network was created when Satoshi Nakamoto mined the starting block of the chain, known as the genesis block. I am proud to present my latest 3D model: a bust of Dorian S. Nakamoto, a man whose name is similar to the Bitcoin inventor. The texture of the bust is inspired by an engraving technique used on one dollar bills. The model also includes a fractal blocks layer representing the true essence of Satoshi. My Wild West cowboy is finally finished and I absolutelly love the result! It took me some time to get this as perfect as possible, especially the colours were quite the challenge with this one. For my final assignment character creation I went to the whole pipeline from high poly sculpt to a game-ready, textured model.
