The British Rail Class 800 Intercity Express Train or Azuma is a type of bi-mode multiple unit train built by Hitachi for Great Western Railway and London North Eastern Railway. The type uses electric motors powered from overhead electric wires for traction, but also has diesel generators to enable trains to operate on unelectrified track. Based on the Hitachi A-train design, the trains were built by Hitachi between 2014 and 2018.
This train is in a fictional livery, aiming to recreate the iconic British Rail Intercity “Swallow” livery.
This model was originally made as an asset for the game Cities: Skylines. There are some minor simplifications to the texture and model to keep it optimised for the game.

The school objective was to create a high quality game ready model in a month (the month being shortened to around 3 weeks due to Christmas break). For the model, I chose to create a medieval knight. The Green Knight, low poly was made in Maya, and high poly was made in zBrush. High res was sculpted in 2 days and low res was finished in around 2 days. The game res model was made using the quad draw tool in Maya and UVs were also cut in the software. When creating the low res, I also split some parts off in order to allow for customization as if the model had different armor sets. The textures were made in 4 days with the help of Substance Painter. I followed UE4 PBR guidelines and did every material as a procedural. The distressed look is created by applying multiple colour layers, hand painting over them with chalk brushes (as to simulate a real life chalk paint finish) and applying various visual generators. The flower motif is created from old vintage postcards featuring flowers. I cut various parts of, photo-bashed them together and left some rough edges on purpose to indicate that they, just like the paint on the piece, are old and used up.

Hello people, I have built a battleship/carrier here that comes from my own imagination but also borrows ideas from ships from the Stargate universe. It is completely rigged.
It has 8 heavy cannons and 14 medium cannons (all medium cannons have a tracker for easier use of the rig, as well as a collection tracker for 5 cannons on each site so that they can be used synchronously to track a target), plus a heavy rocket launcher.
It has 4 main engines for sub-light speeds. in the lower middle an auxiliary engine. The bridge is in the upper rear part. Shortly behind it is the reactor and next to it the 8 shield generators. The hyperdrive is connected directly to the reactor. On the bottom it has 4 gravitational jets for hovering.
The ship also has 4 hangar bays (which can each be opened and closed individually).
I also included a function test animation to demonstrate the rig.
