The Farsia Gundam is an x-Rounder Vagan Mobile Suit , however not everything is as it seems with its pilot Yurin L’ciel at a depper glance. This very Mobile Suit was built with the intent to harness an X-rounder’s ability without the need of direct control of the suit itself with a fairly limited amount of piloting experience as well. Overall, the suit has quite the unique design with its prominently feminine appearance and a complete lack of a transformation mode, instead it utilizes a auxilliary propulsion system in conjunction with remote-controlled Farsia Bits to execute ranged combat against its foes in adition to a beam cannon on its chest as well as a detachable Farsia Sword for closer encounters. Overall this project was a nice but fairly challenging mix between hard-surface and organic-modeling techniques, I also figured I could try and make something more stylized this time. Quick scan of a mushroom found near Oxford. It belongs to the Agaricus genus. Not sure which species. Based on a total of 228 x 12MP photos, acquired in the field with a smartphone camera in September 2020. Top and bottom sides were scanned and processed separately, requiring manual mesh alignment and UV mixing. Set up as 2 x 4K PBR texture sets. Raw mesh decimated to around 2M vertices, and further retopologized as quads, down to 6.5K. Manual UV unwrapping, with only 7 islands. The Teke-Teke is an urban legend from Japan. She’s a girl that fell on the train tracks and was cut in half by the train. In some versions of the story she’s pushed by bullies and in others she simply falls. Either way she returns as a monster and hunts people. The only warning the victim has is the sound of her nails on the floor as she drags herself along. She will cut the legs off her victim and try to replace her own. Normally Teke-Teke is depicted as a teenager but I made mine closer to elementary school aged. In the hypothetical game she would be placed in I felt like the change would make her creepier. She was completely sculpted in ZBrush. Her low res was made in Maya and her textures were done in Substance Painter.
