The costume was made for a theatrical performance «Indecent is decent» (Ivanovo State Museum of Local History named after D.G. Burylin, October 30, 2019 – March 1, 2020, http://xn–80ablhhepdp1a2ae9h.xn–p1ai/). The 3D reconstruction was made by using historical block patterns, 2D scans of textile materials and 3d scans of contemporary actors. Anthroscan, Clo3D, SubstancePainter and Unreal Engine 4 software programs were applied. In this project, I tried to make the result to be as close as possible as the concept and the most realistic possible as well.
For the parts that are not in the concept, I tried to match the general style of the whole with details that still are hard surface and color matching with the drawing.
The walkman is 33k polys and the tapes are 17k polys (3 to 5k polys each) for a total of 55k polys.
