I made this for the Artstation Untamed Challenge!
I chose not to include a stand for this one and instead just kept it alone. I also decided not to pose the back legs up in the air because it looked very odd without some spiderweb.
The final model ended up with 38,065 faces and 71,689 triangles.
I used two 4K maps, One for the upper body and the Pipe and the other one for the spider legs and butt.

Cooperation with our friends at G-3D-PrintThe front cover of the jetski was scanned using Artec Leo in 15 minutes (including chalc sraying, markers, etc.) and the post-process workflow took about 60 minutes in Artec Studio. The jetski belongs to the world champion György Kasza and his team. The purpose of the scan is to make a perfect fit bespoke fabricated composite cover, therefore some reverse engineering was necessary to get a native CAD data (step) to be able to machine the mold for the composite. For this, weve sed Quicksurface’s Autosurface option to get the nurbs surface based on the HQ mesh. The exhibited specimen originates from the Tiergarten Nürnberg and came to the NHM Vienna in 1978.
