Sake Gourd (酒 瓢箪) an Alcohol container used to contain Booze , Alcohol. I made this after i got inspired from the anime “One piece" and one of the members from Luffy's crew loves to drink and empty up these Sake gourds yeah, “the Pirate Hunter" Zoro. so, i came up with this. Hyotan (瓢箪) is the japanese name of the gourd. This is my interpretation of what Gaara’s gourd could look like in the real world if it were made from realistic materials. The gourd is made of clay, with the cloth band in the middle consisting of a silk-like fabric. I assumed the symbols around the gourd to be talismans, and gave them the appearance of being “stuck on” to the gourd.
This one was a lot of fun, and really triggered my nostalgia!
