I’ve been working on this project since mid January now and it’s finally finished! Everything is modelled in Blender and the textures are painted in Photoshop. Diffuse and Alpha maps only. I thought I would create a scene with a small story behind it. The mysterious tiny wizard was experimenting with his rare mandrake Root and home grown crystals. He found an old recepice on how to create a special magic potion with the ancient root. By trying it out, he mixes the wrong ingredients together, which turns out to be a magic spell for opening portals. This antique nativity scene belonged to my grandmother. It has no economic value in itself but it has sentimental value for me so I have decided to scan it and make 3D printing copies for my family. This photogrammetry set is composed by the five typical figurines (Saint Joseph, Mary, Baby Jesus, a donkey and an ox).
