The St. Johns Wreck, believed to be that of the 1564 galleon Santa Clara, carried at least 130 olive jars; most broke when the ship wrecked – we only know the number by tallying the surviving rims. This rim has an outside diameter of 9.2 cm, and stands 4 cm tall. This is an easy wreck dive because there is rarely current and the visibility ranges from good to very good.
This is my first wreck project. It took 2 dives, 1333 shots taken with a 15mm fisheye lens.
