This model was used in a rendered photo that I submitted to the 2018 (Edit: 2019) APS Metro show in Abuquerque as part of the “Digital Photography/Special Techniques” category. Unlike my CS:GO skins, this model was actually made by me. Made in Maya, and textured in substance painter, this NEC APC computer looks very nice in my opinion due to it’s 4K screen and emissive map. Weirdly enough I don’t remember this project taking very long. The model and texturing probably only took 3 hours and was made during school. But I am typing this at 1:16AM so I dunno. Enjoy my model.
P.S. I included 2 STOS basic references for lolz as well as a motherlover one that didn’t survive the resolution of one of the materials. Sad.
Edit: I don’t know why, but this didn’t make it in to the show. I honestly don’t know why. Even if the picture sucked (it didn’t) it should’ve made it in because of how few entries in the Computer Generated Art categories there were. Oh well. The Machine Gun Bunker of Alhama de Murcia is one of the best examples of 20th century military architecture in the Region of Murcia. Its design and construction is part of the Spanish Civil War (1936-1939), possibly built in 1937, forming part of the Ground Defense Plan of the naval base of Cartagena, strategic installation, from the military point of view, for the survival of the Republic.
The bunker is essentially built in concrete, a scarce and valuable material during the war that was only used in priority military installations. It conserves its two lateral entrances. Inside the bunker is divided into 3 spaces, two of them for the placement of heavy machine guns and the third to the storage of supplies and ammunition, also serving as a refuge.
This model was created from 567 images taken from a DJI Phantom 4 Pro Plus drone. The images were aligned, and the model was generated and textured in Reality Capture.
