This time I wanted to make something from an actual concept instead of a real object. I took a lot of inspiration from the modeling and texturing techniques of games like Fortnite, Overwatch and other stylized game. I'd say stylized is not my strength, but I wanted to try it! I also managed to rig it and try animating for the first time to give it some spice! I'm very happy with how it came out at the end, knowing I can constantly improve on essential aspects such as texturing and modeling. Hi everyone! Another exciting work in my collection! Idea behind this fire extinguisher was to create a hero asset based on photo references with as much less amount of tris I could get to maintain more or less descent close up quality. 5974 tris is my best result so far). Also It was a first time I was texturing with ACES LUT from Brian Leleux to achieve similar look in Unreal Engine 4. Hi everyone,
This is my grad work for XYZ school course.
As big fan of Cowboy Bebop I decided to make a Swordfish.
I used Maya for modeling and animation, Mamoset for baking AO and normals, fixed some in Photoshop and paint in Substance Painter.
The model has four 4k sets with texel 8 pxcm. I chose metal
oughness pipeline and got transperency map for forth set.
44.5 k - tris, 24 - verts
I add some details to the texture that appeared during the anime plot.

This asset was the result of a single week long art test to examine our capabilities before continuing with the scope of our final major projects. I specifically was tasked with producing a portable construction light to a finished, game ready, quality; following a ‘high-to-low’ poly workflow that featured baking and PBR texturing, ready for importing into Unreal Engine. I am pleased to say I was given immediate approval and my asset featured extremely minimal critique.
