Moszna Castle is a beautiful example of eclectic architecture located in the small village of Moszna in southwestern Poland. It was built in the 18th century, although traces of older cellars have been discovered in the gardens. The central part of the castle is an old Baroque palace, which was partially destroyed by fire in 1896 and reconstructed in the same year by Franz Hubert von Tiele-Winckler. The height of the castle and the numerous turrets and spires give the impression of verticalism, and the whole castle contains exactly ninety-nine turrets. This is my attempt at modelling World of Warcraft’s Sulfuron Keep from the Firelands raid.
This model was created for a college project so any feedback would be greatly appreciated!
And just as a side note: I am aware that the underside of the model and the fact that the platform is poking out from the lava does look rather unusual, however the main reason for this is because I wasn’t originally planning to upload this scene as a physical model that could be viewed from any perspective, instead, once the model was completed, I intended to take a single, static render of the scene as if it were looking through the eyes of a player, and uploading that image to my Artstation account, meaning that I wasn’t really focussing on any of the areas of the model that wouldn’t be seen within the final render.
