I really enjoyed making this more realistic Dinosaur style, because I used the new blender 2.8 with all the new features that it has. And this new version of blender is greatest, they improve a lot the 3D performance, the visualization of the matcaps and the workflow, is more intuitive to work and smoother. This project was by far the most challenging to texture because of all the details but it was super fun! It’s based on the concept of Elodie Mondoloni (artstation.com/elodiemondoloni) and I just love her creativty and how she renders her paintings. That’s why I wanted to explore her style, mix it with my own and see where I’ll get with it. I could work on this forever because at one point you always notice another thing you could change but you have to move on. So, here it is and I hope you like it. (:

Usually, I stay away from challenges because I never have enough time to finish something and honestly, I feel a little intimidated by the awesome work of other artists. But it’s not all about winning, right? For Sketchfab’s Halloween Challenge I decided to finally get out of my comfort zone and do this little cute and spooky model that is based on Patri Balanovsky’s original concept art (https://www.artstation.com/artwork/mlKWY). I’m super happy about being done with it just in time. I could have gone on and on for hours when it comes to the texturing. It was a lot of fun to work on it. Hope you guys like it! (:
