ASUS Motherboard x299 SAGE
I started this personal project to increase my skills in hard surface modeling trying to get a photorealistic result.
I decided to recreate the physical model of asus (WS x299 sage).
This is the Sketchfab optimized version of the model I created previously with Maya and Redshift.

This is a vintage drill I bought at Kortrijk eco shop and tried to replicate it as realistic as I could.
I couldn’t find out what kind of drill it was, but I do know it was produced in West Germany so probably during the Cold War era., which explains why I can’t find it BUT if you find it let me know!!

Made in 3ds max ,zbrush and in substance painter. i wanted to make the model close look like as the original so i used many references like sideshow and some old pictures from the classic costume what they used in the movie. And the interesintg fact is, that the TIE, AT-AT pilot & rebel pilots helmet are almost the same.
You will get all textures in 2K (2048x2048) for save space and time! and all are in high PBR quality so you not need to worry about the size.

Pilot has ( 4 ) material = (oxygen pack, handshoes, body, helmet)

I really enjoyed making this more realistic Dinosaur style, because I used the new blender 2.8 with all the new features that it has. And this new version of blender is greatest, they improve a lot the 3D performance, the visualization of the matcaps and the workflow, is more intuitive to work and smoother.
Definitely is a great update of this awesome software.
