The Bonanza Creek Movie Ranch is located near the ruins of Bonanza City outside of Santa Fe, New Mexico USA . The Hughes family obtained the ranch during the 1940s. The family has used the ranch as a filming location since the early 1950s, when scenes from The Man from Laramie were filmed there. Cross-polarization method is used to get rid of specular lights. The object is also scanned from below to capture it from every side. Afterwards the scan is optimized with retopology work and uv-unwrapping to make it gameready.
