In Greek mythology, Meleager was a hero venerated in his temenos at Calydon in Aetolia. Meleager was the son of Althaea and the vintner Oeneus and, according to some accounts father of Parthenopeus and Polydora. The hero stands with his dog at his side, holding a spear with which, according to the myth, he has killed the Calydonian boar. I saw this cuneiform tablet in a glass case in the musée de Picardie (Amiens-France).
I was immediately stunned by the beauty of this “3D” writing. Unfortunately it wasn’t easy to see inside the case.
So I made a few photos (through the glass case, hence some blue fringes here and there) and here it is !

Caerlaverock Castle was the chief seat of the Maxwells, one of the great noble families in southern Scotland.
The castle is famous in history and literature through its siege by Edward I of England in 1300, commemorated in the contemporary poem, The Siege of Caerlaverock. It was captured in 1640 by the Covenanters after a protracted siege and thereafter abandoned as a lordly residence.

As I am a huge fan of cultural heritage and ancient relics, I decided to create a full body visualisation of Neferteti with Metahuman and Unreal 5. While working on that, it came to my mind remake the well known bust with focus on the clothing, since the bodymesh wasn’t created by me. But I created all the accessoires and clothes, using Cinema 4D, Blender, Zbrush and Substance Painter.
