A modular fire escape set, composed of 3 pieces so the hieght this set goes to is adjustable. Packing all the Uvs into a signular tile was the biggest issue on this asset by far as there was a lot of fiddling making sure stacked Uvs werent showing AO or the like from other faces. Again I chose to go a singular low poly model baked on itself in Marmoset, then quickly textured in Substance 3d model

Revisiting this project I cleaned up some geometry, laid out new UVs, and gave the model new textures. I added dirt, fingerprints, and dust to the textures with substance painter generator effects. Yes, this was a hell of a scan… it look me 10-15 minutes to walk the entire street. Shootout to @polycam app (@cpheinrich), that handled the capture from the beginning to the end of this 560 ft long scan (170 m.)! Try to navigate through the scan using the annotations. Clarion Alley is a small street in SF between Mission and Valencia Streets, notable for its world renowned murals. To me it’s the Street Arts Mecca, and it tell so much about the history of SF past decades, its mystical bohemian tradition, the challenges faced by its communities, and much more.
