It's been a while since I last posted a 3D model, and the reason is simple, I've been mostly drawing in my free time. So I looked for a way to share thoses as an interesting 3D pieces on Sketchfab. And so here's what I came out with: Some kind of Virtual Workshop with a lot of textures ! I tried to make it as light as possible while keeping the quality decent, don't forget to check “HD textures" if you can. There are drawings of all kinds compiled in there, some are design, some are studies most are random doodles to unwind at the end of the day. This isn't meant to be a “best of", a lot thing wouldn't have made the cut, the idea is more of a dusty attic where you find old stuff you stored long ago to forget about ! I have been wanting to do this for a while because I always thought it was facinating how much this painting already looked like a lowpoly 3d scene! I’ve also always been a fan of the aesthetic of the Futurist movement.
I finally sat down to do this because I realized that this would be perfect for this month’s lowpoly challenge, seeing as Futurism was an art movement that portrayed utopian visions of a high tech future. So with that in mind, this is my second entry to the UtopiaLPChallenge, this one being in the pastel color scheme rather then the neon one like my first submission. I would have used a longer chain of buildings to be more faithful to the original work, but wanted to ensure that I remained within the 2000 triangle limit (final count for scene is 1964 tris) of the challenge.
