Maria Fjodorovna Barjatinskaja (1793 -1858), made in 1818, Bertel Thorvaldsen (1770 - 1844), plaster, height: 180 cm. Reference number: A172. Thorvaldsen museum (Copenhagen, Denmark). Made with ReMake and ReCap from AutoDesk. The Russian Princess Maria Barjatinskaja came to Rome in 1818 with her husband. At his wish, she was modelled by Thorvaldsen. The marble sculpture was created in 1821-25, but was never delivered. After the Princess’s death, her family demanded to have the statue handed over, but instead accepted a copy made by Thorvaldsen’s most important Danish apprentice, the sculptor H. W. Bissen. The Alfa Romeo Spider (105/115 series) is a two-seater, front engine, rear drive roadster manufactured and marketed by Alfa Romeo from 1966 to 1994 in four distinct series, each with modifications ranging from modest to extensive.
As successor to the Giulia Spider, the Spider remained in production for almost three decades. The first three series were assembled by Pininfarina in Grugliasco and the fourth series in San Giorgio Canavese. The last Spider was manufactured in April 1993 — the last rear wheel drive Alfa Romeo before the Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione of 2007.
In 2012, FCA Italy and Mazda studied the possibility of jointly developing a new Spider for 2015 based on the Mazda MX-5 platform.

3D scan of the mounted white-tailed eagle pair (Haliaeetus albicilla) from the Danube wetlands near Vienna. These birds were bagged by Crown Prince Rudolf on the 22nd of January 1889, only nine days before he committed suicide in Mayerling, Austria. The nest of the white-tailed eagles called eyrie can be as tall as four meters and is often used for many years.
The white-tailed eagle pair with a fledgling at the center is Number 74 of the NHM Top 100 and can be found in Hall 29 of the NHM Vienna.
