Trying out handpainted textures for the #travelchallenge! A regular broomstick just won’t do for a warlock on the go! This deluxe broom is complete with handlebars, a seat, and a friendly familiar. I was going to add cupholders but not sure if that fits with the fantasy theme. Feel free to use this model for anything, it was mostly for practice. All done in Blender.
Also, despite what the bottom says, this model is probably not compatible with Unity/Unreal. The broom is all individual objects with their own textures, as that was the fastest and easiest workflow to follow. The file is an absolute mess. If you feel like optimizing it for game engines anyway, feel free to share with credit. A fan-art from the game The Legend of Zelda! Link’s Master Sword and shield awaiting for him on a calm, magic forest, while Navi flies around. Engraved on the statue, the games from the series that I have completed so far.
My first attempt at handpaint (well, months ago I did one with the mouse, but that doesn’t count :P), and I’m really really satisfied with the mood of the scene and the result :D It’s quite a change from my usual style.
It began as an approach to modeling in 3dsMax with the Master Sword, then with the shield… and I couldn’t resist, I had to make the scene. Textured and animated with Blender.
It was really fun to make this one… I hope you like it! :)
