These depressions housed small inlaid gold coffinettes each of which contained a mummified packet each containing either the stomach, lungs, intenstines, or liver. The sledge is wood covered in gold leaf.
Created from 169 images (Canon EOS Rebel T5i) using Metashape 1.6.1 and Blender 3D 2.8. The gold covered wooden sledge was fixed/recreated in Blender as was the cavetto molding and lower portion of the lid. Further, the 4 metal staples each on the lid, chest, and sledge were all recreated in Blender. The front left human headed stopper was created by duplicating the rear right one in Blender.
