This is the high poly model of the mg3a1 I made as part of the leopard 2 mbt I'm working on. NOTE: since this is only a reletaively small part for a much larger model (a tank), I didn't spend too much time on getting the size and scale 100% percise. In hindsight I think the barrel is a little too long, but I think it will be barely noticeable after baking to lowpoly and put onto the tank model. Development of the MG 30 took place under the direction of Louis Stange at Rheinmetall’s Sömmerda office.
