I’m a fan of cars from NFS, NFS2, NFS3: hot pursuit. I like to create accurate replicas of the cars from these games. And i styled this McLaren F1 according to the NFS2 version. For work, i used a mid-poly model, for the possibility of easy use for games, but replaced all the small details of the exterior with HD details in order to achieve quality and good appearance. I created an exact (ND 4 SPD) license plate, some textures and quality wheels. Just as in all my cars, i always create the correct reflecting geometry of mirrors, and the wheels will never hang in the void (like many 3D models and cars from games), because i really love the cars vhich i make. It started out as a low poly model but was never finished. To finally finish it I decided to add lots of new detail as well as completely re-texture it, adding additional maps that our game engine didn’t support at the time (like normal maps). It includes a fully modelled cockpit (which would have been interactive had the game ever been made), and a detailed rotary engine; both of which have their own set of texture maps so will be easy to reuse in other projects. Included in the optional download are all uncompressed texture maps in PNG format (diffuse, AO, roughness, metallic, and normal), as well as quadrangular and triangulated versions of the mesh. I wanted to make a new hellenic thing, but then realised that this may be original Roman design - at least I found no evidence of greek origins of the design. It’s still doric though! This model is based on the sarcophagus of Lucius Cornelius Scipio Barbatus (clearly a roman guy), and here is the fun fact - the inscription on the tablet was once redone, most likely by one of the relatives of Scipio. So I changed the text a bit with some lines from the movie “Blood & Concrete: A Love Story” - since Romans really loved concrete, which they called opus caementicium. 3D Model is ready to download for free, this model contains 34609 polygons.

So Finally after 2 years of learning blender to make this model, here we have it. i really wanted to give justice to an accurate 3d imagination of this character after a rewatch of the show. I have modelled and textured the character but I am not good at rigging.(I have added a basic rig though) I really hope you guys will be able to rig this and make sick-ass animations.
