This was such a cool project to work on. I made this project based on the concept art from Kyle Corneliushttps://www.artstation.com/artwork/5l2Kz. Everything has a first time well this project was a lot of first times. This is my first time working in zbrush I always wanted to learn how to sculpt and work it down to a useable game ready creature. After making the high poly in zbrush I went to Maya for the retopo this was also a first for me so learned to work with the quad draw tool. When the low poly was done I uv unwrapped in Maya and textured in substance painter. I went back to zbrush for the posing. This work includes complete texture/material set on a predefined ingame model.
My focus was and always will be to create medium-tier weapon skins, that are relatively neutral and not overly complicated. I know there are so many superb artists that create a true pieces of Art - I’m just a humble ui/ux designer that puts his soul to create a niche of guns that fit my needs.
Like all of my work, I will adapt this style to various guns with changes and adjustments where it seems necessary (for example additional material because of model complexity etc).
