I created this warmaul for DAE’s Weaponcraft asssignment.
A relic weapon designed for “The Scarlet Crusade”, a fanatical religious sect on a grand quest to rid Azeroth of the Undead Scourge up in former Lordaeron. It never had the possibility to shine its brightest light due all the corruption from within.
The Scarlet Crusade always interested me in the time I played WoW, but never did I invest in their lore as much. Doing a deep dive I discovered about this lad Saidan Dathoran who was their “Grand Crusader” before being corrupted by this dreadlord. The weapon they portrayed Dathoran with looked like a big rock on a stick, so I thought I’d design something a bit more worthy for a “Grand Crusader”.
