I had old die-cast toys and mid 20th century industrial, factory machinery in mind when I put it together and was careful to consider the layering of materials and the interfacing between them. I also tried to give it personality. To offset all that ‘grounding’, I’ve posed it dynamically in a small, dramatic scene. There’s peril, there’s lava, there’s robots! What’s not to like?
