The base idea for this scene is a task from one of VK’s Blender learning groups. But because the course itself is paid, I just used several final renders from other students as a references. So my scene is my implementation of this idea: small house in a woods, made with lowpoly technic. In my implementation it’s nowadays time, thus I added a car and electric-like lights inside. Making this project from ground zero took about 10 hours. In this project I used texture paint mode and mirroring modifier for the first time. Lowpoly modeling is a new topic for me, so I like the result I got, with using minimum of textured surfaces. The ground texture is hand-painted mix of several good and free textures, I found all over the Pinterest. Some of building’s textures are also come from Pinterest. I’ve been watching these mushrooms grow in a little patch of forest near my house and the #AgisoftNatureChallenge provided a good incentive to see how well they’d scan. I was a bit surprised at how some of the details like the ant colony entrance turned out. All in all, it was a good experience trying to capture something that I might not have attempted otherwise. Model made from 132 12MB images taken with a Samsung Galaxy Note 8 and processed in Metashape using “High” quality settings. Just another weird model, this time mix between ent and imp, that for some time I had in my folder under codename Verto and just waited to get rigged. Idea was to make tad smaller ent that would act like imp in forest but would not be so weak as most of folklore show them, something similar to some of Japanse Oni demons. The Indian peafowl or blue peafowl (Pavo cristatus), a large and brightly coloured bird, is a species of peafowl native to South Asia, but introduced in many other parts of the world. The male, or peacock, is predominantly blue with a fan-like crest of spatula-tipped wire-like feathers and is best known for the long train made up of elongated upper-tail covert feathers which bear colourful eyespots. These stiff feathers are raised into a fan and quivered in a display during courtship. Despite the length and size of these covert feathers, peacocks are still capable of flight. Peahens lack the train, and have a greenish lower neck and duller brown plumage. The Indian peafowl lives mainly on the ground in open forest or on land under cultivation where they forage for berries, grains but also prey on snakes, lizards, and small rodents.
