Hey guys. After the success of my Ghostbusters Ecto 1 and Firehouse exterior scene, I decided to challenge myself with the interior. Using online reference of Engine 23’s interior, movie screen grabs and floor plans, I managed to get something that resembles the layout. The fun part was adding the details that made it look like a fully established business. Things to look for: Janine’s infamous Whale Paperweight, Her copy of People Magazine, the Rainbow Dec 100 computer Egon installed, the guys lockers and the pole Ray slid down. Peter’s office has a few Easter Eggs too. Heres a breakdown of the model. This model of an African Bush Elephant is more than 4 years old. You can see the first version of it here: https://sketchfab.com/models/nbHrGAzBh1SktiN4DnpXFDykZcv At the time I was pleased with it, but I had trouble with the posture and I wasn’t that skilled yet to get the polygons to an acceptable level. The last week I have been working on it again, one of the advantages of working in digital 3d. I changed a lot of things in posture, sizes and shape, most of them subtle but more in line with what an African Elephant looks like. This version of the model is an intermediate sized model. I could go down to the lowest polygon version, but I think this is a good compromize between ease of use and actual details displayed. And as you can see I used the posibilities of the viewer to give it a look and feel that matches the grandeur of a great African elephant bul. P.S. The model has Dept of Field (DoF). Over the course of the summer I made quite some 3D hand painted props for Ashleigh Warner’s CGMA course: Creating Stylized Game Assets. This is the assignment for the first week, we had to create three cubes with all of them having an unique theme. The focus in this assignment was on creating a texture with two unique sides, focusing on painting. The cube on the left is a stool, the one in the middle a crate with carrots and the one on the far right is just a ‘tech’ box. “A glare from its single scarlet eye freeze its target utter fear” - Emerald Pokedex I made the Ghost Pokemon Duskull to celebrate Halloween 2021! The Skull is my project from last week and is modeled after the skulls in Legend of Zelda Wind Waker. Reusable assest FTW! Following the Wind Waker art style I made Duskull with a Toon Shader look. While making this I forgot that Duskulls do not have noses/nose-holes so I completed modeling and texturing then realized I need to go back and fix the skull lol.
