Finally my currently biggest project is done after 5 months later smiling_face. That was a really great experience for me and personally that was a great success for this year. Before starting this project I had no idea about creating realistic game ready charecter, realistic scultping, hair creating etc but with this project I learned lots of new things about these ones. Learning workflow was the most important thing in this project for me because I had a lot of empty blocks in my mind about game ready character modelling. Except of that definitely creating hair was the hardest part for me I did lots of hair card try but unfortunately I didn’t like not of them so I used ready hair card from marketplace but I am really happy with the final version. Turn out I didn’t use any of the maps from my high poly scultp, as I find it harder to match my texture painting to the original concept because my sculpt wasn’t good enough. All textures painted in 3D Coat and with a few finishing touches in Photoshop.

This is a work in progress of a personal project i have been working on. Ever since working on our previous project Aurora, i’ve always been thinking of ways to integrate interesting and powerful scultptures into the environment that will dwarf the player in awe. This was a piece i couldn’t get out of my mind the most though.
I wanted to explore how an ancient civiliasation would visulaize the journey of a soul from the mortal plane to the after life. Taking themes from Michalangelos ‘Creation of Adam’, the piece represents the connection between Human and God. travelling from one domain to another represented through a staircase running up both beings hands.
